These quirky things about your face will also dictate frames shape.
Wide set eyes
Go with a darker, thicker bridge. This will draw the attention inward and make your eyes seem closer together than they really are.
Close-set or narrow eyes
Glam it up with a posh design of the frame and temples to draw attention outward.
Small face
Slightly shorter lenses look best. Also, look for glasses made of lightweight metal and thinner plastics.
Long nose
Choose a straight brow bar (the metal strip running across the top of the lens). This will visually cut the bridge of your nose in half.

4 THINGS TO LOOK FOR
Got your face shape and features down pat? Read up on sunglass add-ons.
1 Embrace the darkness. Because your skin isn't the only thing that gets slammed by UV rays, make sure your shades have 100 percent UV protection (it should say so on the label). These sun blockers will not only protect your vision but also help stave off those crow's feet that come from squinting.
2 Polar wear. When cruising down life's highway, consider sporting shades with polarized lenses to reduce glare that reflects off of horizontal surfaces. The lenses contain invisible vertical filters (kind of like teeny Venetian blinds), which block glare cause by horizontal light waves.
3 Total crush material. Your favorite shades belong on your face-not under your ass. But sometimes accidents happen, so know this: Lenses made polycarbonate or Trivex won't shatter, even under intense pressure.
4 Lighten up, will ya? Nothing is more uncomfortable than heavy frames pressing against your face. Avoid unfortunate warping with frames made from a lightweight material, like elastic titanium.
